2023 HCBL First and Second Teams Announced
The 2023 HCBL first and second teams were announced on Monday, The Westhampton Aviators who had the best record in the regular season highlighted the first team with seven selections.
HCBL MVP Sean Keys (Bucknell) is joined on the first team infield by Westhampton teammates Ethan Guerra (Paris JC) and 2023 HCBL batting champion Matt Torres (Dickinson). North Fork's Jackson Curtis (Husson) joins them on the first team infield at first base.
HCBL Pitcher of the Year John Kwiatkowski (Manhattan) of the Southampton Breakers highlighted the starters on the first team with North Fork's Zach Fortuna (UMass Lowell), Westhampton's Michael DiForte (St. Peter's), and Westhampton's Jack Turner (Suffolk CC).
HCBL Reliever of the Year Jacob Pedersen (Adelphi) is joined by South Shore's Kyle Salvati (Franklin Pierce) and Sag Harbor's Cole Forcellina (Connecticut-Avery Point) as the relief selections on the first team.
