The Southampton Breakers were toward the bottom of the Kaiser/Hampton standings of the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League at the start of this week’s games, but after winning five of their last seven contests, the Breakers now find themselves in second place with an 8-6 record and just a game behind first-place North Forth (9-5) as of Tuesday morning.

Southampton lost to Westhampton (8-7), 7-4, on June 22 at Hite Field in Westhampton but then bounced back for a 7-3 victory over the Long Island Mustangs (2-11) at Southampton High School on June 23.
